What do you do with the snake after removal?

Snakes are relocated to appropriate, uninhabited habitat at least 1 mile away — or further if state regulations require. All relocation follows state wildlife laws. Snakes are not killed unless they pose an immediate threat and relocation is impossible.

How can I tell if a snake is venomous?

Don't try to identify it yourself — take a photo from a safe distance if possible.
